I left London for a few days, and what happened? David Beckham officiated the opening of Belstaff House on New Bond Street, that's what happened! Belstaff moved into the newly refurbished building at 135 - 137 New Bond Street, and a whole host of stars turned up for the opening as part of London Fashion Week. The event was celebrated with a motorbike parade down London’s home of luxury retail, New Bond Street, which had been closed to traffic for the occasion. David Beckham wore a Belstaff 'Kendal' leather biker jacket, over a white t-shirt and matching leather trousers for the event. The jacket featured textured sheepskin from New Zealand with blistered-like grains, but with exceptionally soft touch and feel. It is also announced that David Beckham will front Belstaff’s Spring/Summer 2014 global advertising campaign, which will be photographed by Peter Lindberg and inspired by the late great Belstaff aficionado Steve McQueen.
